Discover our Agricultural Training and Production Centre in Brazil!
To help create meaningful experiences for guests, we have created an Agricultural Training and Production Centre (ATPC) at our Grand Palladium Imbassaí Resort & Spa to allow guests to feel a deeper connection with the sustainable aspects of the region.
The project focuses on three key objectives: cooperation with local communities, cooperation with guests, and environmental protection.
The ATPC supports training in sustainable production together with the Imbassaí Institute, also operated by Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts and focused on training and employment. This approach strengthens the local economy and also helps preserve the rich local culture and handicrafts, with a special focus on working with the indigenous community.
One of the aspects of the project is the training we provide to the local community in the sustainable production of vegetables and other agricultural products. This aims to boost the sales of local crops and also encourage a more sustainable economy that brings benefits to one and all.
We are also proud to leverage this to offer authentic experiences to our guests and garner their support for local products and the local economy.
Finally, the ATPC also embraces more environmentally-aware agricultural practices. From sustainable food production to the creation of a bee colony to produce stingless bee honey, we are working on helping preserve biodiversity and minimise our environmental impact.
In a similar vein, we are also committed to a project to encourage composting and efficient organic waste management to help preserve the natural beauty all around us.
